The 2015 BMW M4 is both a performance coupe and a convertible, and joins the recently introduced BMW 4 Series, which is now in its second year (the BMW 4 Series was introduced in 2014) breathing new life into the Pennsylvania car market. In many ways, the M4, brand new for 2015, is a two-door version of the more familiar BMW 3 Series. Like the 3 Series, the M4 features powerful engines, creative technology, and a sport-centric driving experience that will dazzle Williamsport and Montoursville drivers alike.
Not only does the 2015 BMW M4 boast a roaring engine, but it returns outstanding fuel economy whether mated to an automatic or manual transmission. Under the hood of the M4, you'll find a rocketing inline-6 3.0-liter Turbocharged core, which is home to 406 pound feet of torque (at 1,800-5,500 rpm), and 425 horsepower (at 5,500-7,300 rpm). The Environmental Protection Agency gives the following fuel economy ratings for the all-new M4: manual iterations get 17 miles to the gallon on city streets and 26 miles to the gallon on highways, while automatics maintain the same economy in the city, and slightly lower (24mpg, to be exact) out on the open roads.
The brand new M4 features a wider stance than the BMW 3 Series, and also benefits from a lower center of gravity, which discerning drivers will particularly enjoy when they take their M4 through windy Pennsylvania back roads, or have to dodge roadway hazards. (Additionally, both body styles come with performance-geared brakes and differential.) Large air intakes on the front-end give the M4 a more pronounced and aggressive look, which are only enhanced by the M4's quadruple exhaust outlets and power-dome hood.
The BMW 4 Series is an absolute stunner, and none more so than the new M4 performance coupe and convertible. For a more exhaustive break-down of this all-new addition to the BMW family, we invite you to come into Fairfield BMW just outside of historic Williamsport. Our highly-trained staff will walk you though all aspects of the M4, and even let you take it out for a trial run.
